DEADLY WATERS OF POLITICS

Praise God for the boldness of Christian young people!!

This article with video completely uplifts the soul:

http://www.citizenlink.com/2013/06/06/south-carolina-valedictorian-rips-up-speech-recites-lords-prayer-during-graduation/

One news person was surprised the police didn’t arrive to remove this valedictorian from the stage.

Fortunately, we have the same rights we have always held in America according to our Constitution. We have freedom of speech and religion wherever we are. Being in government buildings or government meetings does make void every right we own.

From The Washington Times and other source:

(Edited and condensed)

A South Carolina valedictorian garnered wild applause after he ripped up his pre-approved speech and delivered the Lord’s prayer at his high school graduation.

The act was apparently in protest of his school district’s decision to no longer include prayer at graduation  ceremonies, Christian News reported. Officials said the decision was made after the district was barraged with complaints by atheist groups.

Fortunately, braveness won over the tyranny of removing America’s religious rights.

The account:

“I was tearing up on stage.” The valedictorian ripped up his speech to recite the Lord’s Prayer to everyone’s joy at this secular school.

He ripped up his graduation speech for all to see, before he started talking about his Christian upbringing, Christian News reported. “Those that we look up to, they have helped carve and mold us into the young adults that we are today,” he said. “I’m so glad that both of my parents led me to the Lord at a young age.”

“And I think most of you will understand when I say…” he paused. “Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name…”

The auditorium began to erupt with applause and cheers. “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,” he continued. “For Thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.”

The school district stated they will not take disciplinary action against this Christian young man.

Praise God!

Stewardess Kneels in Plane Aisle

I loved reading the account of a remarkable trip from New York to Houston.

A man took notice of the female flight attendant who served everyone with a smile despite her pace.
He found the time to inquire of the reason for her happiness. She responded with, it was her job, it was all show, she was a “professional.”

He wisely inquired, “If she understood the difference between joy and happiness?” She could not.

At this point he handed her a New Testament and explained “the joy of the LORD, and her need to accept Jesus as the LORD and Savior. She listened attentively.”

“Then, at about 38,000 feet above the ground, she knelt down in the narrow aisle, with all watching, and she confessed her sin and accepted Jesus as her Savior.”

He and his wife “held her hands and prayed for her as she expressed the joy of the LORD.”

Family News:

Persecution of our military

Actual incidents:

When a serviceman expressed his religious position about homosexuality on a personal blog, he received a “severe and possibly career-ending reprimand.”

An enlisted service member was given a negative efficiency report for sending personal invitations to his promotion party, in which he said he would be serving Chick-fil-A sandwiches “in honor of the Defense of Marriage Act.”

A senior military official at Fort Campbell sent out a lengthy email instructing officers to recognize “the religious right in America” as a “domestic hate group,” (akin to the KKK and Neo-Nazis) because of its opposition to homosexual behavior.

An Air Force officer was told to remove a Bible from his desk because “it might offend someone.” The officer had kept the Bible on the desk for 18 years.

A chaplain was relieved of his command over a military chapel because he refused to deviate from federal marriage law and allow same-sex “weddings” on base.

An enlisted service member was threatened and denied promotion by a senior NCO for expressing — during a personal conversation — his support of natural marriage.

Last month, Coast Guard Rear Admiral William Lee told a National Day of Prayer audience that religious liberty was being threatened by Pentagon lawyers and service members are being told to hide their faith in Christ. “Leaders like myself,” he said, “are feeling the constraints of rules and regulations and guidance issued by lawyers that put us in a tighter and tighter box regarding our constitutional right to express our religious faith.”

Of course, evil and vile planned activities occur at military parties, but it is the decent gatherings that promote godly goodness that are classified as illegal under this administration.

Muslim Terrorists—illegal words:

New York Post:

To put it kindly, the president is stuck in deep denial. Shadow-boxing against the truth, he can’t bring himself to say “Muslim terrorists” … Asked why Obama didn’t immediately call the April 15 Boston bombings a “terrorist attack,” Axelrod told an interviewer that “I’m sure what was going through the president’s mind is — we really don’t know who did this — it was Tax Day. … There you have it. The instinct in the White House — or maybe the hope — was that the bomber would have ties to the Tea Party or another conservative group …

Edward Snowden has provided information that has angered many, basically that all Americans are being spied on. We are not allowed disclosure to this fact; we are to believe the lies that are filtrated to us through the media. We are to make-believe we are not being surveyed by intelligence.

Edward Snowden’s interview:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/video/2013/jun/09/nsa-whistleblower-edward-snowden-interview-video

Due to the Snowden leak, Washington is now telling us spying on us is a good thing. Plus, it is perfectly legal for the innocent citizens of America to be spied upon.

What our Constitution awards us:

AMENDMENT IV

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

______

Time will tell the total motivation of Edward Snowden. If he divulges secret information to foreign governments, that can bring harm to us, then we know he is not a true American. Of course, our government could make false accusations regarding him, as we well know.

Currently, Snowden has made no attempt to disclose anything, except those issues that effect the Constitutional liberties of the American people that have been withdrawn in illegal acts. The Guardian British Press assures that they are careful in overseeing what is disclosed.

It is disheartening that the secular news media fully supports the president, NSA, and Congress in all the lies that they have set forth. They provide not one word of reproof.

Liberal journalists verbally attack the truth tellers. They call all the liars the good guys, and all those who expose the lies, the bad guys. This is total, conspired wickedness; yet, the Word of God warns that in the last days, good will be called evil.

Apparently, reporters assume you forget all their previous telecasted lies.

They believe anyone who exposes the lies of this administration needs a target placed on their back so justice can be served.

I heard one newscaster, mention, though not directly, “beheading” in regard to the Snowden scenario. Brit Hume made it clear that he is very angry. Americans knowing the surveillance truth is treason in his eyes.

“Beheading” caught my ear knowing Muslims behead people with knives, swords and machetes, many of whom are Christians.
I saw a photo where a Muslim man had beheaded a little Christian boy and held the head in the air for show.

Of course, a Muslim recently performed such an evil deed in London with a British soldier. He implemented a cleaver.

Brit Hume further declared Snowden provided no information regarding the facts of NSA. He made fun of him for being a know-nothing.

Well, if what Hume says is true, then why is he so angry, and why does this man need to be captured or killed.

Snowden stands on one of Obama’s campaign agendas:

One senator stated that he believes our government may try and kill Snowden with a drone.

______

Rand Paul News:

Senator Rand Paul said he disagrees with Obama administration statements that the recently disclosed NSA efforts constitute a “modest” invasion of privacy. He said he has no problem with government agencies using similar methods if they have a warrant on a specific person. However, the NSA surveillance programs are designed specifically to bypass using a warrant.
“That doesn’t look like a modest invasion of privacy,” Paul said. “I have no problem if you have probable cause … but we’re talking about trolling through a billion phone records a day.”

______

Of course, NSA has protected Americans on various occasions. One Muslim man was phoning Pakistan for bomb making instructions, and he was arrested before he could act harmfully.

What is disturbing is there are people who have harmed us who should have been imprisoned long before their acts. The government knew the Muslims who attacked us on our soil were terrorists, that they were threats to America’s safety.

______

PRISM is not an acronym according to NSA; however, it will not expose what the letters represent.

“It’s the super-secret program to surreptitiously sweep the Internet for audio, video, photographs, emails and web searches from nine major US Internet providers – Microsoft, Yahoo, Google, Facebook, PalTalk, AOL, Skype, YouTube, and Apple – in hopes of detecting suspicious behavior that begins overseas and may be tied to terrorism.”

Is it right for a man who supports American liberty to be viewed as the world’s number one terrorist, who needs to be manhunted, beyond all those who do commit murdering terror in this world?

The press states that people want to be completely monitored; however, this is not true. Alan showed me a survey from Sandpoint, Idaho, a very liberal community, and most surveyed did not want to be monitored. Only a few stated they did not mind. This also reveals that the public needs to be leery of surveys when they are often conducted by liberal groups. They will often disguise their questions to make people think they are answering opposite of what is stated. This trick is used in voting as well. Voters believe they are voting one way, when they are actually voting the opposite. This occurred many years ago with a local measure in our former neighborhood in south Boise. Everyone thought they voted correctly according to the confusing phraseology provided. We later found out we had been tricked by the language and promotion.

Of course, political surveyors can lie regarding the results as well.

It has been reported that IRS implemented the PRISM program of The National Security Agency (NSA) to gather information on Christian organizations, Jewish and conservative to perform tax exemption harm.

______

On top of this, NSA just admitted its information on Americans is not secure. It is vulnerable to Cyber attacks:

Conservative News:

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Stockman (R-Texas 36) Tuesday asked the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee to subpoena all National Security Agency records of phone calls between employees of the White House and the Internal Revenue Service.

Stockman’s office hand delivered a letter Tuesday afternoon to the Committee’s office requesting a subpoena “of all records of every phone call made from all public and private telephones of all IRS personnel to all public and private telephones of all White House personnel” collected under the NSA’s recently-revealed PRISM program.

“Obama assures the public, he only collected this information to uncover wrongdoing and protect civil liberties. Clearly he would want us to use it to investigate this case, because otherwise he’d be lying,” said Stockman.
“If Obama has nothing to hide he has nothing to fear,” said Stockman.

“This case must be investigated fully, given admitted wrongdoing by the IRS, its potentially criminal implications and revelations the White House has been less than honest about what they knew and when,” said Stockman.  “Obama says the PRISM program is perfectly legal, so there should be no problem whatsoever in providing the information on White House and IRS phone calls.”

“The only possible scenario in which the administration refuses to comply would be if it would reveal unconstitutional or illegal behavior,” said Stockman.

Stockman’s office also electronically delivered the same letter to the Homeland Security Committee chaired by Rep. Michael McCaul.

Wall Street Journal:

(Condensed)

WASHINGTON—The National Security Agency is obtaining a complete set of phone records from all Verizon VZ-0.56% U.S. customers under a secret court order, according to a published account and former officials
The National Security Agency is obtaining phone records from all Verizon U.S. customers under a secret court order, according to a newspaper report and ex-officials.

The account provides fresh evidence that NSA’s far-reaching domestic surveillance effort has continued after Congress passed a law five years ago to institutionalize a post-9/11 warrantless surveillance program.

In a rare test of a tool expanded in the U.S. Patriot Act, a telecom company is fighting the government’s use of a secretive tool called a national security letter to get access to customer records without a court order. WSJ’s Jennifer Valentino-DeVries reports. (Originally published July 17, 2012)

The revelation of the secret order appears to lift the veil on a broad NSA domestic collection program under way, which former government officials say represents just a sliver of the domestic data NSA is taking in and which includes all types of communications data, such as emails and records of Internet browsing. The data collection began after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, according to several former intelligence officials.

Verizon is required to provide NSA with “all call detail records” of customers, including all local and long-distance calls within the U.S., as well as calls between the U.S. and overseas, according to a court order labeled “top secret” published Wednesday by the Guardian newspaper.

Verizon officials declined to say whether the order appearing on the Guardian’s website is authentic.

Verizon’s traditional landline business connects about one billion calls a day. Verizon Wireless has nearly 100 million retail customers. Verizon spokesman Ed McFadden declined to comment, as did officials with the NSA.

A senior Obama administration official Thursday called the practice a “critical tool” in protecting the public from terrorists.

The information collected “allows counterterrorism personnel to discover whether known or suspected terrorists have been in contact with other persons who may be engaged in terrorist activities, particularly people located inside the United States,” the senior Obama administration official said in defending the practice.

What is unusual about Wednesday’s revelation is the apparent order that was issued by the secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA), whose findings are rarely made public. It is the first known unauthorized publication of one of its orders.

The order is dated April 25, 2013 and expires on July 19, 2013. It is slated for declassification in 2038.

“It’s analogous to the FBI stationing an agent outside every home in the country to track who goes in and who comes out.”

Syrian Christians require our prayers:

PERSECUTION ARRISES IN SYRIA  (Baptist Church News, June 7, 2013) – The following is excerpted from “A Conversation with Christian Syrian Refugees,” Religious Freedom Coalition, June 1, 2013. It shows that those fighting against the Syrian government want to create an Islamic state and introduce Sharia law. For Jews and Christians, this is worse than the existing corrupt administration. “The following report comes from Martin Janssen in Amman, Jordan (original in Dutch). … Janssen had the opportunity to meet with Syrian Christian refugees, who told him how they came to flee their homes and villages.

Their village was occupied by rebel forces, who proceeded to announce that they were now under an Islamic emirate, and were subject to Sharia Law. The Christian residents were offered four choices: (1) renounce the ‘idolatry’ of Christianity and convert to Islam; (2) pay a heavy tribute to the Muslims for the privilege of keeping their heads and their Christian faith (this tribute is known as jizya); (3) be killed; (4) flee for their lives, leaving all their belongings behind.

Some Christians were killed, some fled, some tried to pay the jizya and found it too heavy a burden to bear after the rebels kept increasing the amount they had to pay,  and some were unable to flee or pay, so they converted to Islam to save themselves. The scenario reported by Syrian refugees is a re-enactment of the historic fate of Christians across the Middle East.”

Love in the One who has created a true home for born again Christians, this present world is not our true home. Christ left this earth to prepare a wonderful place for us in heaven.
