John MacArthur’s False Teachings and Pornography

Jesus Christ put His trust in no man as He knew what was in man (John 2:24-25)
Dear readers,
I am sharing my letter regarding Dr. John F. MacArthur. Thank you for taking the time to read and consider.

Dear ———

I trust you are being blessed today. In this day and age of antichrists, we must be so careful of whom we listen to. The apostasy is grave!

I want you to know, I am calling John MacArthur a false teacher. I will not turn my back on Jesus Christ and not call him a heretic. If I would not stand before you regarding this, I know I would be denying my Savior. Anyone who blasphemes the blood of Christ is a wicked, vile, false teacher. This blood dissociation fact would hurt and anger any true believer who truly has been born again and washed in the precious blood of Christ. Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sins!

God explains without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins as one can read in Hebrews chapter 9, and Hebrews 9:14 states: “How much more shall the blood of Christ who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this cause, He is the mediator of the new testament”… This is what the communion table is all about. 1 John 1:7 states the blood of Christ cleanses us from all sin. And please study these verses: Revelation 1:5—”And from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood.” Ephesians 1:7—”In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.”

You will also note, His blood is in heaven as explained in Revelation chapter 19. In this chapter, Jesus Christ annihilates all His enemies before His millennial rule from Jerusalem; verses 11 and following: “Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness, He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a ROBE DIPPED IN BlOOD, and His name is called The Word of God.”

And there are other verses as well.

Yes, John MacArthur is a false, wicked teacher!

From Wikipedia:
…The controversy concerning the efficacy of the blood stems from MacArthur’s statement that it is not the literal liquid blood of Christ that saves, but his sacrificial death on the cross, a view that he espoused in an article titled, “Not His Bleeding, but His Dying,” published in the May 1976 issue of the Grace to You family paper that is distributed to his church.

❦ ❦ ❦ ❦ ❦ ❦

John MacArthur has no problem with lying deception:

❦ ❦ ❦ ❦ ❦ ❦

MacArthur proclaims the blood of Christ “could not save” and “it was not the FLUID that saved us, it was the DEATH of Christ.”

Ten years later, in a letter to Tim Weidlich, MacArthur stated:

Obviously, it was not the blood of Jesus that saves or He could have bled for us without dying. It was His death for sin that saves. When Romans 3:25 speaks of ‘faith in His blood’ everyone understands that to be a reference to His death — not the blood running through His body. In Romans 5:9, being ‘justified by His blood’ also refers to His death, as verse 10 makes clear in saying ‘we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son.’ In fact, the careful explanation of salvation in Romans 6 omits any reference to His blood at all. The point is that the shedding of blood was just the visible indication of His death, His life being poured out. … I admit that because of some traditional hymns there is an emotional attachment to the blood — but that should not pose a problem when one is dealing with theological or textual specificity. I can sing hymns about the blood and rejoice with them — but I understand that reference to be a metonym for His death.”

On page 237 of John MacArthur’s commentary on Hebrews, he states that it is “not Jesus’ physical blood that saves us, but His dying on our behalf.” In a letter to Mr. Tim Weidlich, dated April 4, 1986, MacArthur wrote, “Obviously, it was not the blood of Jesus that saves or He could have bled for us without dying. …Yes, the blood of Christ is precious – but as precious as it is – it could not save.”

MacArthur is clear, “Nothing in his human blood saves. His shed blood represents his sacrificial death for us.” (Grace to You”, 1976) I will add, Christ’s blood is holy and it does save us as well as His grace.

Regarding Paul’s Conversion:

From MacArthur’s Website:

John MacArthur:

“Now this becomes very clear throughout the Scripture, not just Romans 8. So I want to do a little Bible study with you, go back to Romans 1 and I think you’re going to enjoy this, and it’s going to stretch you into a wonderful new category of understanding. Paul … Romans 1:1, “A bondservant of Christ Jesus, called as an Apostle, set apart for the gospel of God.” He’s a good one to look at for this kind of call because when the call of God came on the life of the Apostle Paul, it was a sovereign divine gracious and irresistible summons. He was slammed in to the dirt on the road to Damascus with nothing to do but respond, he is called as an Apostle. In verse 6 he’s talking about the obedience of faith in verse 5, obeying the gospel, among whom you also are the called. You are the called ones of Jesus Christ to all who are beloved of God in Rome, called saints, called holy ones. You are the called, the holy ones, the ones called out.

Look at 1 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 1, again “Paul called an Apostle.” He doesn’t mean that’s his title, he means he was called by God, by the will of God to be an Apostle of Jesus Christ. And again, it wasn’t something that he could resist. Verse 2, “To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, saints by calling.” So whatever this calling is, it makes you a saint. In Romans 8 it justifies you. Here it sanctifies you. And down in verse 9, “God is faithful through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” You were called into the fellowship that you enjoy with the Lord Jesus Christ, called by God. Over in verse 23, “We preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block, to Gentiles foolishness, but to those who are…here it is again…the called both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.” Now follow this. If you are among the called, then when Christ crucified is preached, He becomes to you the power of God and the wisdom of God. To the Jews a stumbling block, to the Gentiles it’s foolishness, but to the called whether Jew or Gentile, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God…Paul understood that he was just grabbed by the neck by God and awakened to the glory of Christ and saved and made an Apostle …”

❦ ❦ ❦ ❦ ❦ ❦

I, Val, must reveal, nowhere does the Bible state Paul was grabbed by the neck and was slammed in the dirt. This is a lie! This sounds most hateful like a newly enlisted soldier saying, “Yes, sir,” because he has no choice after being slapped around by his sergeant.

Paul saw the light and fell to the earth that is what Scripture states; it cannot be added to or subtracted from (Acts 9:3-4). God did not grab Him by the neck and slam him to the earth. This is horrendous blasphemy! To say he had no choice is wrong.

Paul, at this point, wanted to choose to follow Christ and he did. He fell in love with the Savior and chose to follow.

Yes, Paul was chosen, but he also chose. He had a free will. He was not a robot. God wooed him to Himself, he was not grabbed by the neck by a god who makes us bend at the knee without a choice. I have witnessed people come to Christ. They do not act like they are being grabbed by the neck and forfeit all their normal reasoning. It is clear that they are loved to Christ and therefore choose Him.

It is not because we have no choice because God is mean to His children. God woos us onto Himself and we choose Him. We can take no credit, positively! We are saved by His loving grace, acknowledging He removes the blindness of doubt and unbelief from our heart so we see the truth and receive Him.

It appears Dr. MacArthur contradicts his own free will statements regarding salvation. He presents no free will with Paul: “And again, it wasn’t something that he (Paul) could resist.”

Below is a later statement in this same sermon which appears to contradict what he presented with Paul. He says, he does believe in free will and no one came to Christ because they were coerced:

“Well, all of that is really needless because that’s not what Scripture says. No one was ever saved against their will. No one was ever brought into the Kingdom kicking and screaming, protesting. No one was ever saved who was dragged against the grain of having dug their heels in. That is not what Scripture teaches. No one has ever been saved against his will, no one ever will be. Everybody who is saved is saved because they will to believe the gospel. In fact, they will with all their heart and soul to believe the gospel. No one is ever saved without being willing. It is an act of the will to believe. The question is, what made them willing? Or better, who made them willing? Was it them? Was it the preacher? That’s what we would have to conclude in that kind of system. Somehow it’s them in the end and somehow though they were not willing they became willing, they found…they found somewhere they could get a hold of a bootstrap and pull themselves up out of unwillingness into willingness. Or the preacher smashed their resistance and by his preaching he made them willing.”

John MacArthur’s heresy regarding Christ the Son:

John MacArthur teaches that although Jesus is eternal, He is not the eternal Son of God. He writes, “Son is an incarnational title of Christ. It is an analogy to say that God is Father and Jesus is Son … God’s way of helping us understand the essential relationship between the first and second persons of the Trinity … Christ was not a Son until His incarnation.” (Commentary to the Hebrews, pp. 27, 28)

MacArthur is a false teacher. We wrote to Mr. Weidlich:

“Regarding the Sonship of Jesus. I am only concerned to explain the meaning of Hebrews 1:5. If there was a time when the second member of the Trinity became a son, was begotten; and if the use of the future shall be to me a Son;’ then there must have been a time when He was not.”

Now, consider what the Scriptures teach. These expose the lies of MacArthur:

Psalm 2 refers to God the Son twice “Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, unless He be angry, and you perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled.” The Son of God is referred to in Daniel 3:25 when Christ appeared in the furnace. And of course, we all know Isaiah 7:14 and 9:6, “Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a SON, and shall call his name Immanuel (meaning ‘God with us’)”  “For unto us a child is born, unto us a SON is given: … and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

I have to ask, why does John MacArthur speak for Israel on the one hand, and on the other hand he participates in Bible Conferences with false teacher, R. C. Sproul, and other false Reformed men? These men despise dispensationalism and refuse to believe in Christ’s millennial rule on the earth when He will reign in Jerusalem and all of Israel will be saved. Reformed men strongly teach Israel has no future at all, there will be no millennial kingdom, most prophecies were fulfilled in 70 A.D. and that we should approach the prophetic Scriptures in a non-literal way.

Like most hidden Calvinists today, these men will state “Israel has some future” and will leave it at that. They often want to sneak in their teaching so they place a little bit of heretical error, in a large amount truth, to slowly deceive.

Why does John MacArthur hate the world dispensationalist if he is truly Jewish-friendly? I know Calvinists lie and are deceitful, just as their god Calvin lied and deceived.

This is all crazy to me. You can’t speak out of both sides of your mouth. All that is needed, is for the Scripture to be read word by word, verse by verse. God made it simple. Everything in the Word explains God’s Word. No complicated, forked-tongue theologian is needed. People like John MacArthur relish complicating the Word of God so they sound deeply intelligent or so it seems. What they do is change the Word, and this is not allowed! His commentaries remind me of Calvin who always complicated and changed God’s Word. MacArthur is different from Calvin in some of his teaching, but his style very much resembles Calvin.

The Bible makes it clear we are to have no association with false teachers.

John MacArthur is Pornographic:

John MacArthur and His Master’s College know how to take part in the arriving great harlot of the book of Revelation by standing with pornography, through their video department, and vividly exposed through their chorale rock group, “Triple Fist Kiss.” In their “Empire State of Chorale” video on YouTube, they are blazingly pornographic with sexy dance, female immodesty and immoral words that are attached to vile rock music. (No man should watch this. My godly husband will not watch it.) This video is certainly pornographic in the eyes of Jesus Christ who is pure, undefiled, innocent, separated from sinners and exalted above the heavens; Hebrews 7:26. More and more Bible churches are placing pornography right on their stages.

Women are called to act in all chaste and shamefaced behavior—dressing in bashfulness towards men and in the fear of God. (1 Timothy 2:9-10 and 1 Peter 3:2) We also read within the Old Testament, stairs could not be built up to the altar so no male nakedness could be exposed; Exodus 20:26. The priests did wear long robes and britches or pants underneath, but Almighty God desired nothing improper or tempting of thought.

Excellent video on the importance of dressing in bashfulness towards men and in the fear of God:

The state of the church today certainly causes a prudish believer to wonder, “How much longer until the rapture of the church?”

Today, it is the prude believers who are church disciplined, simply because they stand for purity and separation.

You can see for yourself, John MacArthur has no problem with the sexy rock beat, as it is set ablaze at his Resolved Conference:

John MacArthur’s Social False Gospel:

John MacArthur’s new ministry partner is Jackie Hill Perry—A worldly rap artist, a Marxist liberal, Obama-ite and stands for Black Lives Matter. She follows the doctrines of demons and most of the time, in her social justice presentations, does not even own the appearance of being washed clean in the blood of Christ and walking in all love and compassion. And Perry is one with heretic and new ager, Beth Moore.

She is a former lesbian but is still attracted to gals. Very strange! She is married with children. She appears unwashed and not purified in the Lamb of God, though her lingo of Christianity leaves one confused and God is not a God of confusion. How can she be a Christian speaker and preacher in churches? She certainly does not believe in being silent in the churches as a woman. She is deceived.

Being one with Perry appears to be all about being one with former President Obama, George Soros, and the one-world government movement. The wicked democrats and their demonic agendas are having their way through MacArthur and others of his gang. Though, MacArthur’s “Statement on Social Justice” makes MacArthur appear to believe the opposite, though not through those he travels with and allows to speak. Extremely strange indeed!

MacArthur’s 2019 Shepherd’s Conference was Obama-like—being much about the poor, oppressed black people who have bought into the feel sorry for me and bow down to me attitude. The position of proud and arrogant blacks, though not all blacks, by any means.

“A significant division over how the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) should address racism became public again during a panel discussion at this year’s Shepherds’ Conference (ShepCon) last week. Sparks flew between Albert Mohler, a prominent SBC leader and president of Southern Seminary, and Phil Johnson, a close pastoral associate of John MacArthur. MacArthur, who was also on the panel, is pastor of the prominent Grace Community Church, which hosts the annual ShepCon, and a longtime friend and ally of Mohler. Both are hugely influential in conservative evangelicalism.”

The conference’s goal appeared to be a recruiting platform for all to become activists and join Antifa’s social gospel of Marxism when you listen to Mohler who was not kicked-off the stage for his social justice rhetoric.

To me, the social justice movement in churches is akin to a Black Lives Matter’s meeting where you have to hate yourself because you are white! You must be trampled down by the black man. Whatever happened to the church simply being one in Christ no matter one’s ethnicity? All wise believers know one race is not superior to another. God crafted them equally in His eyes. “All have sinned.” It has nothing to do with creating an agitated, kill the white-man movement.

Good info video:

Good info:  (I must add, I do no stand with the reformation movement nor do I promote this website.)

The Southern Baptists and Albert Mohler exposed:

I will add, you never see the leaders in the Southern Baptist movement crying over all the pedophilia acts performed by members of leadership in this movement. In their eyes, the telling victims are the bad guys.

The so-called theologians of our day circle around the same wagon which circles around Augustine, the father of the Catholic Church, who worshipped Mary. He was the hero of John Calvin who stole some of his theology, tweaking it to make it sound Christian when it still remained heretical. The nefarious, reformer followers of our day stand with Augustine and Calvin who were both false leaders of the blind.

“Even so, come, Lord Jesus!”

Below is a letter that was sent to me from Grace Bible Church of Burbank, California regarding most of the above information. They desired my writings until I sent forth this information. I learned this was the church of John MacArthur’s father, Dr. Jack MacArthur, and where John MacArthur served as an assistant pastor.  His heart is glued to this church and the pastors are glued to him and his teachings.  He is one who can do no wrong in their eyes. This fellowship believes his fanatical, apostate teachings supersede Scripture as you can see through this letter:

Unfortunately, I do not agree with you and neither do my pastors and elders. Please check the Scriptures again and strongly consider the issue at hand before slandering a great expositor of God’s Word like John MacArthur.

Here are verses regarding how Christians are to judge: Christ, in John 7:24, teaches we to judge according to righteousness sake, not appearance.  2 Corinthians 5:9f commands we judge the church. Herein, we note we are not to associate with believers who are sexually immoral, who worship idols (such as Catholics who claim to be Christians), those who covet things, those who take advantage of others financially, those who get drunk, etc. We are not even allowed to eat with such ones. The Bible also warns us to judge so we do not place ourselves under false teachers—2 Peter chapter 3, the book of Jude, 2 and 3 John.

Added Info:

Dr. John MacArthur states it is fine to bake a cake for a gay couple: This is participating in their evil and vile deeds. This expresses approval for the lifestyles of feces, diseases and death. It is unbelievable! Christ, the apostles, John the baptizer/prophet would expose the sin, not take part in the celebration. I, personally, could never be a secular cake baker not knowing if a couple owns a Biblical right to engage in the covenant of marriage. To be a Christian baker, questions would have to be presented. And it would take a question to learn if a Christian couple were indeed saved, knowing an unbeliever cannot be joined in holy matrimony to a believer. And one would have to discern if a couple is in a state of adultery, leaving grieving mates. All marriages would have to represent a pure union.

It would appear from this interview, MacArthur would approve of homosexuals patronizing a business to express vile, physical affection before others which they at times enjoy doing for spite and for attention. Homosexuals have entered churches to express their vileness. I sadly witnessed it in one church. Where would he draw the line or does he have a line?

Where are the ones who are willing to die for righteousness sake?

And Dr. John MacArthur regarding mark of the beast. Please listen:

MacArthur states in this audio portion that those who take the mark of the beast can still be saved; minus any vocal hesitation on his part.

This is what the inerrant Word of God declares:

Revelation 13:6-8 “And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven. It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain.”

Revelation 14:9-11: “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends up for ever and ever, and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and who receives the mark of his name.”

Revelation 20:4 “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them. And I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the Word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”

No attached waiver is presented in these texts regarding the mark of the beast to appease the compromisers of this world who already pledge their allegiance to men who are vile and wicked … men who deny the Biblical Christ and what is penned in His inerrant Word. It was determined from the foundation of the world that only lost sinners would worship the beast!

Great wrath is promised to those who add and subtract from the Scriptures. This is witnessed in the book of Revelation, chapter 22, verses 18-19.

All of Scripture will be fulfilled—Matthew 5:18-19. Everything will be accomplished down to every jot and tittle.

It is true that multitudes from all nations will be saved during the tribulation, being verified in Revelation 6:9-11 and 7:9-14. These verses reference the tribulation martyrs. However, no one who receives the mark of the beast is promised eternal life with Christ.

The nation of Israel will be saved later in the tribulation, specifically viewed in chapter 12 of Revelation. The 144,000 male, virgin Jews who represent every tribe of Israel, confirmed in chapter 7 of Revelation, will be saved and will walk with Christ, as they will be found to be “without fault before the throne of God.” (Revelation 14:1-5)

We believers must study the Bible, being ready to compare all statements heard from so-called Christians with the inerrant Word of God.

My book, Revelation the Explanation , explains the wondrous book of constant wonders.

❦ ❦ ❦ ❦ ❦ ❦

Other passages regarding the mark of the beast:

Revelation 13:15-17 “And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

Revelation 19:20 “And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.”

Love to those who believe in the Christ of the entire Bible who never lied in His Holy Word, and shed His precious blood that men might be saved!

  1. Hello:
The root of any problem in Christendom can be traced back to God’s Word (The neglect of it). Yes, this John MacArthur does teach a false doctrine. Like so many “he” believes that he can find the truth. The psalmist declared, Psalms:119:18: Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. God is the best commentator, not man.

And many poor souls, neglecting the Word of God, follow after these teachers, and their church. They believe what their church believes, not the Bible.

    By His Grace,
    Richard Cross

    Comment by Richard | April 1, 2012

  2. The major error in the church system is that of original sin which redefines sin from being a crime against God to a disease. It was the ancient gnostics who recognised sin as a substance of the flesh which necessitated actual sin, thus God gets the blame for sin and sinners are victims of a disease.

This teaching completely redefines repentance, faith, grace, and salvation.

Salvation in the church system is presented as a package or provision which one merely has to trust in and then they are pronounced saved. It is viewed in an abstract sense completely separate from the deeds of the body. Pure gnostic philosophy dressed up with Christian terminology.

The Bible teaches that we get saved from our sins, not in them. This happens through a genuine repentance and faith where one crucifies their old man with Christ, laying aside all filthiness and wickedness. God then raises up the new believer to a new life and their past sins are purged by the blood of Jesus Christ. They then walk in purity before God not yielding their bodies to unrighteousness but rather they yield themselves to the leading of God as they walk in the Spirit.

  4. Val,
Thank you for sharing the truth! I truly do not understand how people follow Macarthur and his lies.
Paul was called an Apostle because he fit the requirements of being an Apostle. Macarthur makes it sound as if the title was given to him by default.

    Comment by Ann | June 16, 2012

  5. Ann, you are most kind to leave your wise comments that hopefully incites readers to think on the Scriptural plane. It is difficult to locate discernment in this day and age, therefore, your words are an encouragement!

You are correct! Godliness is certainly determined by Biblical “requirements,” not the popularity of a man. The books of Timothy and Titus are clear on the requirements of a pastor or shepherd. The twelve apostles were beyond reproach and set the example for pastors to follow, as you know and state.

Love to you through our Savior who never walked in the ways of sinful men, Val

  10. Its good to find those who do not compromise the Holy Word of God to find favor with the world .. I have been disapointed different times when watching a Pastor on TV and then out of the blue says something that totally conflicts what the Bible says and then I leave off watching that Pastor again.. Juist a few says ago I was watching “Ask The Pastor: and I have watched this different times finding ni fault at all then a few days ago he said this ” I don’t know what I believe” If a Pastor a professed man of God says he does not know what he believes what can it help those who watch that may not be saved or spiritually immature as they are new believers in Christ Yeshua . imo those who do not know what they believe should not be teaching .. I know that no one can claim to know everything ,but on this subject being discussed he should have known ..
I have a good Pastor who Preachs the Word not waving and compromising to gain favor of those in the world ..
Pastors need to realize and boldly proclaim the Word for the Word will not conform to the world, the world must conform to the Word ,,I think it a very dangerous thing to bring the world into the Pastoring to present the Word ,compromising Gods Holy Word jeopardizes the truth ,mixing the two togather taints the truth and people in the stage of time are finding it hard to believe anything told, and Pastors that bring the world into the Church to teach the Word will not gain souls for Christ ,they will not become followers of the Word ,but they will remain followers of the world..

  11. Thank you Val for making this available to everyone and thank you for your insight and sharing your gift of spiritual wisdom and for posting comments reguardless

    Comment by Janet | January 5, 2013

  12. Yes, Janet, you are correct again! Praise God for you. It is difficult to locate anywhere, someone who has your spiritual discernment.

We need to stay in the Word of God, as it is nearly impossible to find true pastors today. The apostasy is grave. The Word renews our faith and increases our faith.

We must shun the false teachers. We are commanded not to place ourselves under the teachers who misguide. We must recognize their hearts of sin; 2 Peter chapter 3.

I do pray for God to raise up pastors who have the hearts of the apostles, prophets and the faithful who will arise in the tribulation, who will not compromise.

You and I must always hold to the fact that those who love this world, including its teachings and philosophies, the love of God is not in them; 1 John 2:15-16. And whoever is a friend of the world is an enemy of God: James 4:4. May the LORD keep us close to Him all the days of our lives.

Love in Christ Jesus or Yeshua, Val (Psalm 1)

(It is great to hear from you again, dear sister)

  13. John MacArthur is a false teacher and a heretic. We are redeemed by the precious blood of Christ. The blood of Jesus begins in Genesis and ends in Revelation. 1 Peter1:18-19-Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Hebrews 9:22-Without the shedding of blood there is no remission. Ask the Egyptians if the blood was not important when the death angel slew all their first born.(Exodus 12). To deny that Jesus is not the Son of God is calling Jesus a liar. II John 9-11-Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth hin God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

  14. Mike, few are wise. You are most wise, knowing you stand only on the Scriptures and this is what is quoted accurately by you! You are noble, as you have placed your hope in Jesus Christ and His blood work for us—sinful mankind.

Your comments are refreshing, living water to the soul. It is a tremendous blessing to find one of the few who do not stand on man and man’s teachings.

    In gracious gratitude for you,

  15. Hi Val,

Thank You, LORD GOD, for your daughter’s heart to be clear on The Blood of Jesus, amen.

The LORD bless & keep you, your family, and those He ministers to through you, in Jesus’ Name, amen.

Comment by William Joshua Triplett | November 7, 2014

  16. Dear William, your gracious comments are appreciated and your thoughtful prayer!

May the LORD bless you as you follow Him faithfully and your family as well. May you always be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and understanding; doing all that is pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might according to His glorious power, in patience, long-suffering with joyfulness. Giving thanks to God the Father, who has made us partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. (Colossians 1:9-12)

Yes, William, we must stand strong in this day and age of the apostasy … this vivid evil is in marching control of our churches. Whatever is styling and ecumenical is received with open arms, even the removal of Christ’s blood and holiness.

Over a year ago, a couple in our church were talking to my husband and me about John MacArthur, and they seemed to see the blood issue as non-relevant. It was all about MacArthur worship or so it appeared. Their flippant manner was abhorring. They were soon leaving for one of MacArthur’s conferences and I know they would have been delighted if we would have attended too. Sad!

In gratitude for you, Val (Few are the wise)

  17. John MacArthur lacks biblical discernment because he calls an unbeliever a Christian. When he was asked if C. S. Lewis was a Christian during a Question and Answer Session, he said that Lewis was a Christian. MacArthur said this even though C. S. Lewis did not believe the Bible is the inerrant, infallible, inspired Word of God, he did not believe that Jesus Christ took our punishment when He died upon the cross, Lewis believed that followers of other religions belong to Jesus Christ, without knowing it, because they follow those parts of their religion that agree with the Christian religion, Lewis believed in purgatory, baptismal regeneration, theistic evolution, and prayers for the dead. He was an unbelieving heretic, and yet MacArthur says Lewis is a Christian. What is particularly revealing about the equivocation of MacArthur, is that he quotes Lewis in his book Hard to Believe, and yet warns against the false teaching that Lewis taught, that unbelievers could be saved without conscious faith in Christ. You said that MacArthur speaks out both sides of his mouth, and that is indeed what he does. Thank you for standing up for the truth. God bless you. Amen!

  18. Thank you, Eliza, for taking the time to write and inform wisely. It is an extreme blessing to locate one who is discerning by the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ.

I write in return to you, Eliza, God bless you for standing on His Word alone, with no additions or subtractions. I appreciate your lovely, Biblical name, I assume a rendition of Elizabeth in the Bible, who stood only on the Scriptures in exalted faith and rejoiced in the power therein.

I, believe, Eliza, from what I am researching, and with regard to your comments, C. S. Lewis had a form of religion, including an occultic vent.

He sounds like your typical, Anglican, religious fellow, but who denies the power of God and displays no personal relationship to Jesus Christ; no filling of the Holy Spirit, whereby we live godly in Christ Jesus and rejoice in Him continually.

Personally, I never took an interest in C. S. Lewis so I have learned quite a bit from researching your informative comments.

From what I have read at John MacArthur’s website, he does double speak regarding this Anglican:

You and I acknowledge, John MacArthur has no problem being one with many false teachers, including John Piper and R. C. Sproul who hold many unbiblical, personal impressions, including being anti-Israel. Sproul is an outright Calvinist/Preterist and Piper is loved by Calvinists and this exposes a great deal about the three who triumph in personal glory—MacArthur, Sproul and Piper.

Piper continually exposes himself as a heretic. He has never appeared to be a true believer to me. He is devoid of the Spirit and this made evident in much of his teachings and his deceptively, decorous presentations.

    C. S. Lewis, the Anglican, believed in the theory of evolution, which is commonplace in Anglicanism. He membered himself to a works system and one of idolatry. High Anglicanism worships Mary; low Anglicanism will sing to her as a deity. There is a large idol of Mary displayed outside of Westminster Abbey, and I noted one inside when there; yet I believe there are possibly more by viewing video footage of this Anglican Abbey.

From Wikipedia regarding the Westminster Abbey: Henry VII added a Perpendicular style chapel dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary in 1503 (known as the Henry VII Chapel or the “Lady Chapel”).

From C. S. Lewis Fact webpage: In Letters to Malcolm and elsewhere, he defends the idea of Purgatory as a necessary “cleaning up time” for the soul before entering the company of heaven — although he acknowledged that the doctrine was open to abuse. “I hope,” he writes “that when the tooth of life is drawn and I am coming round, a voice will say “Rinse your mouth out with this. This will be purgatory.”

It is no wonder all secularists love Lewis, including those in the secular media.

Janie Moore was Lewis’ sexual lover for a period of time. He distanced himself from being a moral man. His life did not display any fruits of righteousness in any personal sense.

A Liberal exposed Lewis’ ecumenicalism, writing: “Whether you are an emerger or an evangelical, Baptist or Presbyterian, a cessationist (non-pentecostal) or continuations (pentecostal), a Calvinist or an Arminian (not that all of these are mutually exclusive), C.S. Lewis is not only kosher, but staple. In fact, even Pope John Paul II said that Lewis’ The Four Loves was one of his favorite books!” (This book addresses four types of love including erotic. “Lewis uses the distinction between ‘wanting a woman’ and wanting one particular woman—something that matched his (classical) view of man as arational animals, a composite both of reasoning angel and instinctual alley-cat. The book arrises from thought experiments and was classified as dirty talk at one time, when it came to Lewis explaining erotic love. It is also classified with Freudianism—Freud was sexually deviant in his synopsis of relationships, not even accepting an innocent existing love between mom and son from birth.

When it came to the woman Lewis, wanted to marry, he only seemed to view their relationship in an erotic love sense after it passed friendship.)

This person also stated, “Everyone loves Lewis.” Well, God warns, be careful when all men say all good things about you. If we are faithful to God, we will be persecuted for our righteous walk and standing for the holy truths of Jesus Christ. Luke 6:26: “Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for their fathers used to treat the false prophets in the same way.”

When Lewis’ wife, Joy, was dying, he called in a Catholic priest, not a born again Christian to pray for her. When his wife died, he had no eternal hope or consolation of her being in heaven, simply her death as being final.

He certainly revealed himself maintaining Freudian facilities regarding life, viewing situations through a psychological disposition, certainly not one who held to God’s hand and only His Word in any sense.

And why would the author (J. K. Rowling) of the Harry Potter series state, “Lewis was her inspiration.” She is one who is anti-christian and pro anti-christ.

Lewis uplifted the occultist Charles Williams. He was his friend and they became the dearest of friends by exchanging fan letters of all things!

Regarding the antichrist mindset of C. S. Lewis: “I had some ado to prevent Joy (his wife) and myself from relapsing into Paganism in Attica! At Daphni it was hard not to pray to Apollo the Healer. But somehow one didnt feel it would have been very wrong.”

This is occultic! The book of Revelation refers to Apollo as satan and the one who orchestrates all idolatry. (Revelation 9:11: “And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.”

This also Apollo. “Apollyon is a Greek transliteration of Apollo, a Latin term for the Sun God … According to Greek legend, Apollo, the Sun god (Sol god or Soul god) who founded the great Temple at Delphi, usually took the form of a serpent.” Apollo is displayed in art form holding a serpent on a rod.

How in the world can Lewis be considered a Christian?

Lewis orchestrated demonic religion by introducing it to occultism in the Narnia series:

“The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is the third book in the Narnia series. It directly promotes spells and magic.”

Mary Ann Collins: “One part of the voyage deals with an island inhabited by invisible creatures called Dufflepods. Lucy works a spell to make the Dufflepods visible. She goes through a spell book, and it is beautiful and fascinating. Then she finds the right spell and says the words and follows the instructions. And then the Dufflepods (and Aslan) become visible. Her spell made Aslan visible, and he is pleased with what she did …”

“Lewis said that he had trouble with that lust for the occult ever since his encounter with the Matron in his boys school. He wrote that statement in 1955. By then, he had written all but three of his books.”  (The Four Loves, Reflections on the Psalms, and A Grief Observed).

Lewis also said that Christianity fulfilled paganism and paganism prefigured Christianity. (Roger Lancelyn Green, C.S. Lewis: A Biography, Orlando, FL: Harcourt Inc., 1974, pages 274 and 30.)

Heretic Rob Bell believes himself to be aligned with Lewis.

Creation Ministries: “C.S. Lewis … was open on the possibility of persons of other religions belonging to Christ without knowing it.” And you stated this fact, as well, Eliza.

Billy Graham states the exact same regarding his heretical beliefs.

“In an interview conducted in 1944, Lewis explained ‘The Old Testament contains fabulous elements.’ He considered that the accounts of Jonah and of Noah were ‘fabulous’ (a myth), whereas the court history of King David was probably as reliable as the court history of King Louis XIV. ‘Then, in the New Testament the thing really happens.’ It is the sort of view that rightly needs to be criticized by evangelical believers …”

Love to you, Eliza, in Jesus Christ, our hope of glory,

  20. Reblogged this on kr2726 and commented:
I agree with everything you’ve said here, and have taken some heat myself on a youtube video of MacArthur and the heckler at his church, where I made some comments that led to this discussion about JMac saying you can take the Mark and still be saved. I took a lot of heat from others, but I stand by the same position as you in this.

  21. We are in a church planted by MacArthur in the early ’90s in Australia. I am seeing more and more loud music and immodest dressing. And there is a cult like atmosphere, where the people are scared of the leadership and won’t go out of line, with the church. I am tired of their lukewarm preaching too. Just tired of searching for a church that teaches the word of God. I am so disillusioned with the whole thing. I came out of Hinduism in ’92 and knew the path will be narrow, but never knew it will be so hard and narrow. Just hanging on to the Lord until we hear the trumpet call.

Comment by Shanthi Balasuriyar | June 29, 2016

  22. Praise God for you, Shanthi! Thank you for standing strong amidst this grave church apostasy era. I appreciate your insights and truths exposed. Your story is resounded by many who have been injured in the MacArthur movement and I know they would love to give you a hug, including me. I am sorry for your pain and disappointment. May God’s blessings be upon you for standing strong and in the discernment of the Holy Word of God. It will not be long before we are with our Savior, Jesus Christ, knowing our life is but a vapor on this vile earth of sin.

Please remember, we can always run to our Bibles. The Holy Spirit continually renews us with truth with every verse. There is no better place to be on this earth than in the Word of God, through which, our hands are held by Him. Isaiah 41:13: For I, the LORD your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.”

Please feel free to write me anytime. You are a rare gem (Psalm 139).

My love to you, Val Lee

  23. Be aware, there is no greater harlot than Calvinism and all its liars and false teachers in the world today. Without hesitation I state that Satan is its author. Stay away from this anti-biblical trap. And please pray for your loved ones who have been blinded by Satan and this demonic therology.

Comment by Shirnee le Fleur | August 12, 2016

  24. Yes, Shirnee, your wisdom is a sweet savor to the ears of those who have been wounded by these heartless apostates who are all about performing satan’s bidding—presenting doctrines contrary to Scripture.

You are correct, we must intercede continually for the discernment of the church to protect all, including our loved ones, from falling prey. (Colossians 1:9-14)

I do have to disagree with you on one point, knowing anything contrary to the Bible, from any source, represents the harlotry of satan, which will one day consume the earth in subduing idolatry. Though, a bright day will arise when Christ the King will rule the earth from Jerusalem in perfection and holiness and love.

Love to you in Christ who reigns over all and noting, nothing escapes His notice.

  25. Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Matthew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Even though John MacArthur does give an excellent talk condemning Mary worship on Youtube, it is after hearing his other talks negating the efficacy of the saving action of the blood of Christ at the Mercy Seat of God in heaven, and after learning here of his stance on C. S. Lewis, calling Lewis a “Christian”, when after reading his celebrated book, “Mere Christianity” I see that MacArthur and Lewis belong to the same feather of birds, talking out of both sides of their mouths, I therefore place them in my list of false preachers/teachers to be avoided.

Comment by Ann Small | September 9, 2016

  26. Hi Anne, I deeply am appreciative of the wisdom and discernment you choose to exercise. Few are the wise.

We are grievously saddened by the prevailing double talk most everywhere present.

Love to you in our holy, innocent, pure and undefiled Savior.

Comment by Val Lee | September 9, 2016

  27. With discerning of spirits, one knows John MacAuthor is a heretic. Sadly, he may hear the fateful words one day “depart from me for I never knew you”. And the blood of many he has led astray will be on his hand.

    Comment by Pamela | December 28, 2016

  28. Thanks, Pamela, for taking the time to blog wise pronouncements.

I must add, blood will be on his hands for denying the blood of our precious and holy Savior.

Ephesians 1:7—”In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace.”

And, as you stated, Palmela, we know if we own the Holy Spirit within, we are disquieted by all false, unbiblical doctrine which reaches our ears of discernment. Such false concepts traverse to actions in a person, whereby, they take the hand of this filthy, immoral world and parade it as good, as John MacArthur does.

    God’s blessings upon you, Val

  29. Absolutely correct assessment and rejection of John MacArthur and the many other false Calvinistic teachers! They preach another gospel and are to be handled with great sternness and rebuke. They have and are currently leading many astray from God and his Holy word which they constantly distort!

Comment by Chandler cooper | August 4, 2019

  30. Thank you, Chandler, for your discerning heart! Yes, the Word of God is to be used for correction and reproof, as well as, building the body of Christ in the ways of righteousness, not false doctrines which justify evil and commit blasphemy against our LORD Christ. The apostasy is grave. We need to keep interceding for us, the brethren, to maintain spiritual discernment. In gracious gratitude, Val

  31. Hi. I think you need to re-read the tweet by JLP at . She is NOT endorsing pedophilia as a sexual orientation. She is QUOTING someone. And underneath that quote she says she knew that was coming (as we all did really). That doesn’t mean I agree with her social justice “gospel”, but you do need to make a correction there… I also do not hold ANY living preacher up as a hero – they are fallible men!

    Comment by Greg | April 18, 2020

  32. Thanks, Greg, for correcting me. I went to her tweet and noted she was not in approval from her added note below the statement and she was simply quoting.

I apologize for the misinformation and I did remove it. I should have paid more attention and investigated more.

Please tell me if you note anything else amiss at my website.

In gracious gratitude for you and your discernment, Val
