I was quite surprised when I heard Hillary on CNN (Internet video http://edition.CNN.com/video/#/video/world/2009/04/24/am.intv.berntsen.CNN). “Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has acknowledged that the United States had a share in creating terrorist groups such as the Taliban.” http://www.Reuters.com/article/newsOne/idUSTRE52U2EC20090331

 

Mrs. Clinton and President Obama have blamed the United States for inciting terrorists groups. 

 

Obama’s pastor, Reverend Wright, counseled and directed Obama for 20 years. Reverend Wright, stated the chickens have come home to roost, regarding 9-11. This message was given when Obama sat under his pastor without complaint. Sermon video: Http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOdlnzkeoyQ  We know Obama would not have resigned from his church if he had not been pressured. Obama stated at the time that he was saddened to have to do this, and he strongly declared he would never disown Reverend Wright. This church promotes homosexuality, sexual promiscuity in general, and every evil satanic political agenda.     

 

October – November 1996 Bin Laden is quoted in October/November issue of Nida’ul Islam magazine as saying:

“As for their accusations of terrorizing the innocent, the children, and the women, these are in the category of ‘accusing others with their own affliction in order to fool the masses.’ The evidence overwhelmingly shows America and Israel killing the weaker men, women and children in the Muslim world and elsewhere.”

 

Isn’t it interesting that Bin Laden’s words are being heralded in America as truth today?

Barack Hussein Obama, and Proud of It

Word comes from sources in Barack Obama’s camp that the president-elect no longer is going to shy away from the use of his middle name. Call him Barack Hussein Obama, and that’s just fine with him. Democratic pundit James Carville congratuled Obama, saying this is the president-elect’s full and given name, and that he should be proud of it.

This is quite strange in light of the fact Republicans were accused of being bigots during the campaign when they would state the full name of Barack Hussein Obama.

This little guy ran up to me and I was thrilled. However, his parents were not and they quickly derailed his trial. I love this time of the year when I can see these golden babies running amuck in our favorite park. Once or twice, I have had to pick up a lost gosling and place it with parents who adhere to “the more the better.” Some parents will try to kill a lonely gosling who does not own their scent that attempts to join their clan. I have exercised caution with placement.

Wednesday night we heard a Canadian Christian speak, relaying God’s handiwork in Canada. People are coming to Christ via having Bibles placed in their hands. His stories were miraculous and we were all deeply blessed. It is amazing how many people serve the LORD as pastors and missionaries after coming to Christ through the best evangelistic tool—the Bible. 

 

This speaker also addressed Canada’s very liberal government; however, God has been good, as He has set in place a new Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, who is a Christian and totally supports Israel. Praise the LORD! 

 

I heard on the news today that people are in an uproar with our American administration calling our military personnel and conservatives— terrorists. Hopefully, legal changes will ensue with Homeland Security directives.

Parental Rights Removed—More Government Control Over Parents:

  

An official with the U.S. Food and Drug ordered FDA officials to make Plan B (morning after pill) available over-the-counter to minors as young as 17. The Department of Justice should be called in to defend the FDA guidelines on Plan B. However, the Obama administration has decided to roll over and accept the court decision without a single appeal. Essentially, the President is allowing a lone federal district judge to make a scientific decision that affects the health and safety of women across America.  

 

 

Hillary Traveling the Road of Murder:

 

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated that her department would work to overturn pro-life legislation in other countries. Very distressing indeed! May God intervene. Clinton was asked pointedly by Reps. Chris Smith (R-N.J.) and Jeff Fortenberry (R-Nebr.) whether “reproductive health” (as defined by this administration) would include abortion and she replied “yes.”

 

Hate Crime Prejudice: 

 

Under the new “Hate Crime” bill, people who commit certain crimes would face stiffer punishment for any prejudice they might have toward homosexuals and transgenders. In essence, it singles out some Americans for “extra protection” under the law based upon their sexual behavior. Thanks to the stack of amendments by some republicans things were delayed. They highlighted the absurdity of the bill by asking Democrats to extend the same unique status to the elderly, the military, pregnant women, and the unborn. Every Democrat who was present at the hearing voted against adding these groups as a “protected class.” Their prejudice is notably evident.

Columbine took place ten years ago today (time flies). No reflector has the answers, but I will tell you school shootings were nonexistent when the Bible held center stage in our classrooms—a time when most unsaved feared the Word of God, not just Christians. May many in our great country come to the the light of Christ. He unashamedly speaks the answers.

Putting the Bible in Schools

The campaign has been launched by Dr. Charles Seldon of Our Godly American Heritage. “It’s already in 40 states across the nation. If you ask ten people on the street, they’ll say, ‘Well, you can’t put the Bible in public schools,’” he notes. “[But] it’s happening.”
 
Seldon says the classroom Bible teachers are specially trained and are not permitted to preach. “It’s taught as history, literature, or art or comparative religions, and it’s an elective,” he adds. “And it is legal, according to the Supreme Court.”

Where counterfeit marriage is making a mess of the legislative calendar, one small state is making a big statement on traditional unions. Rhode Island Gov. Donald Carcieri, whose state is smack dab in the middle of this controversy, says unequivocally that he will fight to keep same-sex “marriage” out of the Ocean State. Leaving no doubt where he stands, Carcieri said, “What I don’t want to see happen with this issue is what’s happening in courts [that are] deciding things or legislatures deciding things. This is such an important issue I think it should be put to voters,” he told reporters. Knowing that Rhode Island is on the homosexual “hit list,” the Governor went on to say that he would throw his weight squarely behind pro-family efforts in his state.

This week, four pro-life demonstrators who were arrested for peacefully protesting at a local Nebraska abortion clinic were vindicated in federal court. Although the police jailed them several times, Judge Richard Kopf ruled that the plaintiffs had never broken the law. Instead, he ordered Bellevue City to pay $125,000 in attorneys’ fees for these “wrongful arrests” and warned local officials to stop filing criminal charges under an obscure picketing ordinance.

Oklahoma state leaders passed legislation banning research that destroys human embryos. The bill would make it illegal for any business to experiment on these tiny human lives. What’s more, the vote was overwhelmingly positive in both chambers, passing 38-9 in the Senate and 82-6 in the House.

In Washington State, parents who homeschool their children may finally get the privacy they deserve to educate their kids as they see fit. H.B. 1228 would make the 20,000 homeschooled students exempt from public disclosure laws, which would keep any sensitive information about these children from being shared. Another bill, H.B. 1110, would bar public school districts from bombarding homeschooling parents with mail and marketing campaigns. Both proposals sailed unanimously through the Senate.

He Was Dismayed…

 

 

When my husband, Alan, came home from work and walked in the door, he was dismayed…

 

Blood ran on the floor and walls. It appeared to be a bloody crime scene. Worse than what he had ever experienced at work—the prison. Alan immediately called my name. I had arrived shortly before him and walked through, viewing the blood spread throughout much of our home.

 

Our loving cat, Alfredo, had a bump on his forehead, which we assumed would go away. We were totally mistaken. It was a hematoma and it gave way the evening no one was home. He no doubt ran through our home shaking a large amount of blood from his head.

 

Alan and I got on our knees and spent a great deal of time cleaning the carpet, furniture, walls, and vinyl flooring. Alfredo eventually recovered after we drove him to a nearby vet.

 

Our next ordeal with Alfredo arrived about a week ago. He had been in some kind of encounter with another animal and he was having a hard time walking, but still could get around. We felt he had broken or split a bone, but it would mend. Cats usually do. Alfredo had healed previously from a broken leg (another encounter). His leg had been cast, but he wiggled out of it. The vet assured us, he should heal just fine without it. It set perfectly.

 

Saturday, I was in the den with Alan, and I looked down on Alfredo and noticed a small pool of blood. I picked him up and we took him to a new clinic that never closes. He had a very bad abscess (not an injured leg), the worst the vet had ever seen. Alfredo had to go through extensive surgery. The vet told us Alfredo amazed them. He experienced tremendous pain, endured surgery, bandaging and having a cone placed around his head, but he still purred. 

 

We took him home that night around 7:00. He was so happy to be home! He joyously hummed continuously even though he had endured this extreme medical procedure and was hurting. Because he was still bleeding a bit, we placed him in the utility room with a blanket. In the middle of the night, he made lots of racket and yelled in pain. Yes, our poor Alfredo. 

 

Alfredo hated his head cone and bandages. He wanted them off. He was determined and he succeeded in removing the bandages. His bloody tail and hindquarters were completely exposed. We didn’t know what to do that Sunday—Easter. He is a very strong cat and we believed a re-bandage job would also be removed. We went to church and enjoyed a great service surrounding Christ’s resurrection and let it be for the day, as Alfredo appeared to be doing somewhat well.

 

When Monday arrived, Alan asked me to phone the vet. I did, right after Alfredo attempted to remove his exposed stitches. They setup a time in the afternoon, but stated I could come earlier, which I did. They could not believe he was able to remove his bandages while having the cone on. What was also remarkable was the fact he was loudly purring even though I returned him to this building and to the people who had caused him significant pain. The assistant was surprised he kept purring even as she examination him.

 

 

 

The vet eventually joined us and decided he would sedate Alfredo a bit and cauterize his wounds.   He also bandaged him in such a way that Alfredo could not remove it. He also placed a larger cone around Alfredo’s sweet head.

Though Alfredo suffered, he did not desire to harm those who inflicted him with pain.

 

 

 

 

 

Sunday, many people celebrated Easter. This is when Christians contemplate upon the fact that their great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, was pierced through for everyone’s transgressions. He, like a lamb, was taken to the slaughter. The holy Savior was marred and crushed beyond any other man on humanity’s behalf. He never cried out in anger, but lovingly bore our every wrongdoing. He interceded for those who hated Him; forgiving those who placed him on that cruel, painful tree of crucifixion. He poured out Himself through death, being numbered with the transgressors and forsaken by all men.

 

Following His death, he was placed in a tomb. After three days, He powerfully arose from death, revealing victory over the grave (1 Corinthians 15:3-4, John chapters 19-21, Isaiah chapter 53, etc.—the Bible).

 

God suffered and died for us because the human race follows it own path…producing its own drumbeat.

 

Anyone who calls upon God in total sincerity and asks forgiveness of their wrongs, He forgives and renews. He places in those who believe, the Holy Spirit, who enables them to live godly. He provides eternal life in paradise when believers die.

 

Christians still sin, but God always is willing to forgive those who sincerely ask the Father to forgive them in the name of Jesus Christ (1 John 1:9). It is hard for a believer to go through a day without asking forgiveness for something.

 

 

President Obama—Conservative Americans are the True Terrorists

According to Homeland Security, real terrorists are no longer called “terrorists”–conservative Americans are the culprits. Conservative America is the vial threat. See for yourself, click on this: here.

The agency’s report on “Rightwing Extremism,” surfaced this week in police departments all across the U.S., advising law enforcers to be on the lookout for conservatives—being defined as anyone who agrees that the power of the federal government should yield to state and local control. In other words, even the Founding Fathers would qualify; along with everyone who believes in the Tenth Amendment. This is President Obama’s new America.

The underlying purpose of Secretary Janet Napolitano’s watch list is quite obvious. It aims to silence conservatives who state a voice for goodness and life, especially those who don’t see the federal government as the answer to every problem. It marginalizes those who believe all life should be protected (born and unborn) and those who define marriage as a union between a man and a woman. This new policy also condemns those who believe people should have the right to bear arms.

This advisory singles out conservatives for scrutiny, even going so far as to question the loyalty of military vets who have served our nation sacrificially. The alert is an attempt to extinguish any critique of the current administration.

It seems James Madison was prophetic when he said, “The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home.”
